Alternator: Synchronous, 4 poles alternating current, three phases, horizantal axle, self excited, brushes, self ventilated, designed in compliance with iec 34-1, CEI 2-3 vde 0530, BS 4999-5000, NF 51-100, electronic voltage regulator.

Coupling: The alternator and engine are directly coupled by means of SEA flange adaptor ao that there is no possibility of misalenment after prolonged use. The engine flywheel is flxibly coupled to the alternator rotor and a full torsional analysis has been carried out to ensure no harmful vibration will occur in the assembly.
